Pintastic is centrally located within the New England states, and has easy access, being under a mile from Exit 3B of I-84 and under 2 miles from Exit 9 of I-90 (the Massachusetts Turnpike).
The show is designed for family appeal. The event has its own offerings for kids and family members not strongly interested in pinball. Further, its Sturbridge (MA) location offers easy access to antique-hunting and other recreational venues. The show has been re-branded as a “Pinball and Game Room Expo” to be more inclusive of video games. This helps us draw the general game-room market, people who may have just one or two pinball machines at home. You can sell new and used games, parts, publications, or game room decor items. Vended items and advertising should be presented in a family-friendly manner.
The show appeals to all types of pinball enthusiasts, not just people looking for cheap fixer-uppers. There is a substantial tournament and a program of seminars featuring well-known presenters. There is a program book that is a good information source and keepsake that helps to drive future-year attendance.
The show is cross-promoted at other pinball shows, gamer-cons, and events that focus on video games. There is some cross-promotion with regional comic-cons and pop culture shows. Promotion and paid advertising reaches beyond the standard pinball enthusiast segment to related segments. Charitable activities of the show helped drive plenty of general-audience media coverage as well! We have an extensive schedule of press releases and targeted postings in online forums and on Facebook.
For vendors, load-in and setup is easy, on ground level. There is a vast amount of parking space. The vendor hall has high ceilings for your eye-catching display. The facility is a conference center hotel that is accustomed to having public events with vendors like you! The hotel has been a great ally in making this show one of their showcase events. We will arrange room deals at overflow hotels nearby if necessary.
Show promotion includes a full range of cards and posters, which can be posted in your store and will be posted in many places near Sturbridge. Cards can be posted on bulletin boards, mailed, placed in racks, and stuffed in outbound packages you ship.
